Western red cedar is one of the most widespread species in the Pacific Northwest. The provincial tree of British Columbia, it is also found growing throughout the Westside forests of Oregon and Washington. Its wood is naturally resistant to decay and insects and is highly valued for its deep red color and tight vertical grain.
Patrick Lumber deals mainly in vertical grain clears sold as rough industrial stock to siding, deck and trim manufacturers and specialty clears used by furniture, wine racks and other fine accessories. We also do business in rough timbers, both clears and commons, used by timber frame builders in a variety of exterior applications.
